Members receive HLAC accreditation

Congratulations to International Laundry Services of El Paso, Texas and Medi-Clean of Aston, Pennsylvania. Both were recently accredited by the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC). To receive HLAC accreditation, these companies had to pass a rigorous inspection process. Passing inspection means their operational processes adhere to professionally recognized infection prevention and control policies.

In congratulating International and Medi-Clean, HLAC’s Executive Director Regina Baras noted that laundries that become accredited have a competitive edge and are in good company with other like-minded leaders in the industry. She said meeting and maintaining HLAC Accreditation Standards means a laundry has made a commitment to a new level of excellence in the way it processes textiles.
